From October 5 to 9, 2026, the clergy of the Eparchy of St. Nicholas gathered for their annual retreat at the Redemptorist Renewal Center in Tucson, Arizona.
The retreat was led by Fr. Raphael Strontsitsky. The main theme of the spiritual talks was based on an ancient Christian expression: Lex credendi, lex orandi, lex vivendi — “The law of faith, the law of prayer, the law of life.”
During the retreat, the priests had an opportunity to reflect more deeply on the connection between faith, prayer, and daily life. Special attention was given to how a priest’s faith is expressed through his personal prayer, pastoral ministry, and daily decisions.
As part of the annual retreat, the priests also gathered to celebrate the Divine Liturgy at St. Michael’s Church. After the service, they shared a meal, which provided an opportunity for fraternal fellowship and strengthened their unity in priestly ministry.
The annual retreat was a time of spiritual renewal, a deeper relationship with God, and growth in their priestly vocation. Through prayer, spiritual reflection, and fellowship, the priests had an opportunity to renew their spiritual strength and deepen their commitment to serving God and His people.
