Fr. Thomas Dobrowolski has fallen asleep in the Lord

  With sorrow and great hope in the Resurrection we share with you the news that Fr. Thomas Dobrowolski, retired priest of St. Nicholas Eparchy, was called to the Lord on Thursday, March 11, 2021.
  We extend condolences to all members of the Wysochansky Family, beloved by God.

  Necrology of Fr. Thomas Dobrowolski.
  Father Thomas Dobrowolski served In Canada and was a pastor of two parishes: Holy Eucharist in Hudson Bay and St. Peter and Paul in Porcupine Plain.
  In 1992 due to his health conditions, he accepted the parish in Palatine, Illinois. Father Thomas Dobrowolski was assigned as administrator of Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church. After his resignation because of medical problems, he started serving at St. Josaphat’s Parish, Munster, Indiana till November 1995.
  In 1997 Fr. Thomas became Administrator of Assumption of the Blessed Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska, St. George Ukrainian Catholic Mission in Lincoln, Nebraska, and St. Joseph Ukrainian parish in St. Joseph, Missouri.
  In 2001 he established a prayer group in honor of Metropolitan Andrew Sheptytsky at St. Michael’s in Mishawaka, Indiana where he was a pastor.
  Father Thomas retired having his final Liturgy in November 2009.
  We pray for the repose of his soul, Vichna Pamyat.
