"SvjatoslavІ believe that this eparchy is going to become one of the most dynamic out of all our eparchies around the world. And here, in the West of America, it will be able to melt the hearts of even those who, perhaps, have lost the connection with their Church, and could help a lot of people with different nationalities to newly reveal the presence of God among us. We have so much to tell the world". His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the UGCC.

The memorial, dedicated to perpetuation of the memory of the Holodomor victims in Kyiv, is a special place: a place of remembrance, a place of prayer and a place of truth. Under the planned project, the Holodomor Museum is to become a ganglion where we can collect bits of memory of those who were meant to be wiped out from the history of our people and our land, and preserve this memory. Commemoration of the Holodomor victims is a holy cause. As a member of the Supervisory Board of the Holodomor Museum creating project, I want to appeal to all people of good will, to all Ukrainians and all Christians: today it is OUR sacred duty to support construction of the Holodomor Museum with our personal contributions. Every philanthropist contributing to this project will be honoured to have their name inscribed in the Museum creating history. The future Museum will be gathering information about Holodomor victims and serve as a centre for scientific work and study of this horrific genocide. It will also become a heart of remembrance and prayer. We know there are many families, whose relatives died in the Holodomor years, that do not know where their loved ones are buried, have no place to pray for them and do not know where is the grave to light a candle on. Today, it is a special task and a sacred duty of each of us to make sure that the memory of the victims be kept alive. So, let this Holodomor Museum creating project become a nationwide affair and let each of us feel their duty to join in preserving the memory and that grains of truth germinate in our time and be preserved for future generations, for our descendants.
