"SvjatoslavІ believe that this eparchy is going to become one of the most dynamic out of all our eparchies around the world. And here, in the West of America, it will be able to melt the hearts of even those who, perhaps, have lost the connection with their Church, and could help a lot of people with different nationalities to newly reveal the presence of God among us. We have so much to tell the world". His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the UGCC.

Fr. Roman Artymovych was presented as chaplain of Plast (Ukrainian Scouts)

On May 7th, in the diocesan curia, Bishop Benedict has presented the decree on the chaplain service for the spiritual guidance of the National Scouting Organization "Plast" to Fr. Roman Artymovych, who is a fellow priest at the Sts. Volodymyr and Olga Church in Chicago. Bishop Benedict has expressed his support in developing

the organization emphasizing that our society needs conscious christians, who have to remember their roots, cherish and develop values of Ukrainian culture in those locations, where God has placed us. We hope that thanks to this appointment our cooperation will reveal itself through the realization of the mutual projects in God's Glory and for the benefit of our people!
