"SvjatoslavІ believe that this eparchy is going to become one of the most dynamic out of all our eparchies around the world. And here, in the West of America, it will be able to melt the hearts of even those who, perhaps, have lost the connection with their Church, and could help a lot of people with different nationalities to newly reveal the presence of God among us. We have so much to tell the world". His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the UGCC.

Our St. Nicholas Eparchy has been enriched by an additional priest

St. Nicholas Eparchy has been enriched by the addition of a new priest who recently arrived from Ukraine to serve the eparchy.

The Most Rev. Bishop Benedict (Aleksiychuk) met with Rev. Vasyl Miziuk and his family upon their arrival at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.  In audience with the Most Rev. Bishop Benedict, Rev. Vasyl Miziuk was presented with an eparchial cross which represents his officially belonging to the St. Nicholas Eparchy.

On September 5, 2021, at the St. Nicholas Cathedral, after the Sunday Hierarchical Liturgy, Very Rev. Serhiy Kovalchuk (Eparchial Chancellor) read aloud the decree assigning Rev. Vasyl Miziuk to minister in the parishes of St. Andrew and at Holy Wisdom, located in Sacramento, CA.  We wish Rev. Vasyl fruitful ministry in Christ’s Vineyard.
