On October 30, the parish of Our Lady of Zarvanytsia in Seattle held another “Parish Evening Online.” The topic of the meeting was prayer, presented by Bishop Benedict Aleksiychuk.
The event began with welcoming words from Fr. Andriy Oliynyk, the parish administrator, who thanked the Bishop for joining and led everyone in prayer.
In his talk, Bishop Benedict spoke about the importance of prayer in different areas of life — in the parish, in personal life, and in monastic life. He emphasized that through prayer we enter into a living relationship with God.
After the talk, participants had the chance to ask questions and share reflections. At the end, Fr. Andriy thanked the Bishop for his inspiring message, and Bishop Benedict gave everyone his blessing.
