At St. Volodymyr Parish in Santa Clara, another Coffee Talk meeting took place, dedicated to the memory of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky. This time, participants reflected on his message “How to Build Our Home,” in which the Metropolitan shared his vision for the spiritual and social renewal of the Ukrainian people.

In his opening remarks, Fr. Roman Bobesiuk spoke about Metropolitan Andrey’s great role in the history of Ukraine — as a spiritual leader, thinker, and builder of national life. He noted that Sheptytsky’s work included not only religious matters but also cultural, educational, and economic initiatives. The main idea discussed was that both personal and national life should be built on God, with special attention to the Christian upbringing of children and youth, because strong families make a strong society.

After the introduction, participants watched a documentary film about Metropolitan Andrey’s life and ministry, which helped everyone appreciate his deep faith and love for his people.

In the second part of the meeting, Mr. Borys Senyk, a financial advisor from TransAmerica, gave a practical and engaging presentation on how to build financial stability in the family. He emphasized the importance of financial literacy, budget planning, and protecting the family’s future through life insurance.

The meeting ended with warm conversation, good coffee, and thoughtful discussion. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude, inspiration, and a sincere desire to follow the wisdom of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky in daily life.
